We are very proud to announce that our brand new John Cordier Academy website is online.

John Cordier Academy

JCA is an activity of Telindus which organizes training for Belgacom and external professional parties.
The website shows who is JC Academy, what courses they can offer and how to enroll to those courses.

It’s our first end-to-end website using TeamSite/LiveSite/MediaBin technologies at Belgacom including terrific Google search, custom advanced search and dynamic courses upload.

LBi is now working on the corporate websites of Q8 Belgium, Q8 Netherlands, Q8 Luxembourg and Tango Netherlands for Kuwait Petroleum International. With the Sitecore CMS, LBi is building fully dynamic websites with a common visual identity that fits with their new exciting brand strategy. In the past, LBi has already produced an Extranet for Q8 and a campaign minisite.

LBi has launched the new version of the National Lotery site. Thanks to Tridion CMS, the content is fully administrated by the National Lotery team. The CMS includes a newsletter module used to send more than 150.000 emails per week. Custom development have been produced by LBi to fully automate publishing of results on a daily basis.

CMS Awards logo

3 projects of LBi Belgium have been awarded during the latest CMS-Awards ceremony, Europe’s leading award honoring websites based on a content management system.

  • Silver Award for in “E-Gov” category
  • LBi Belgium participated in the development of the search engine of the federal portal site (based on Open Source technologies). Specific about the project is that the search engine does not only limit itself to indexing content. It allows for integration of government data from other sites through the use of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and « crawlers »

  • Bronze Award for Volvo Trucks Belgium in “Content” category
  • LBi developed a common CMS platform (bases on Microsoft’s Content Management Server technology) for all Volvo International sites, mainly using predefined and centralised lay-outs. This global CMS platform gives companies such as Volvo Trucks Belgium the opportunity to tune in locally the « look & feel » of the site and to adapt the content with typical Belgian information.

  • Public Silver Award for Axa Raadgever in “Content” category
  • LBi created a site for Axa meant for their insurance brokers. Goal is to support the 200 product information eager agents to improve their prospect performances. LBi has created several modules within the MOSS 2007 CMS solution.

We have released a couple of major updates for Belgacom sites recently, and new effective sales tools have been also delivered based on original LBI recommendations. We also successfully won the global revamping of the Partners website and Telindus’s John Cordier Academy site; launched two new sites for Touring (The Young Traveller Award and Touring Summer Photos contest)and, check out the teaser action created for the new hot chocolate drink on the Senseo site.

The team has also been involved in pitches for Nokia, Gap and Banana Republic and welcome new hires Creative Directors Kurt and Yvan, Art Directors Paul and Mieke, HTML Integrator Davey, Java Developer Dieter, Flash Developer Martial and Web Designer Loïc to the team. Furthermore some senior developers are currently following an on-site Training on the latest version of LifeRay (Java open source portal solution), increasing the portfolio of portal solutions.

On top of that the IT team decided to reinforce his partnership with Sitecore, provider of CMS and portal software and is proud to have now 6 more Sitecore certified .Net developers!

LBi implemented the new design for the public website and the intranet. LBi, as technical partner for the Documentum-based CMS-system, was the logical choice to implement the new design. The design had to change because Brugge developed a new logo at the end of 2006.

We started by the end of November and three weeks later, all the work was finished. On 1 January 2007 the revamped site was launched with a very satisfied customer as a result. Thanks to those who worked for it !! See more here

Due to the tremendous amount of requests around the Sharepoint 2007 technology, LBi trained 2 extra people around the new version of the Microsoft Sharepoint platform. This training completes the expertise of LBi experts around content management and portal solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
