As compared to 2006 figures, 2007 turnover increased by 35% and EBIT by 137%.

On the one hand, the financial performance has been positively impacted by services provided to existing client portfolio with which LBi Belgium has build a relationship of trust since many years. On the other hand, LBi Belgium also gained new significant accounts.

LBi Belgium totally subscribes to LBi Group strategy consisting in delivering a full range of services along the digital value chain. This proved to be particularly appreciated by its customers. By acquiring OX2 early in 2008, LBi Belgium goes ahead in this direction. In the future, the international presence of LBi will also be leveraged on to create local centres of excellence to client advantage.

Continuous attention paid to cost control also contributed to the EBIT level. Going forward, LBi Belgium will also leverage on synergies derived from recent acquisitions to maintain and further improve its profitability.

With the opening in September 2007 of a new office in Ghent, LBi Belgium intends to confirm its regional footprint and to work closer of its markets. The deployment of the team there already proved to be a success story.

“We’re very pleased to report the highest yearly sales and profit in LBi Belgium’s history” said Benoit Lips. “Our transition to a truly client oriented organization is going very well, and our business just experienced another year of outstanding growth. Due to record growth we needed to expand the team and we have been fortunate to get on board some 30 new collaborators in 2007 – and are expecting at least the same number of hiring’s in 2008!

I look forward to build our clients’ future with a brilliant team in one of the most demanding industry” Benoit Lips added.
